About me
Hello, I’m Mike, a French-American and the founder of Greenhaven Cat Hotel. Since moving to the beautiful countryside of Grass Valley, I’ve fallen in love with its serene landscapes and the peaceful rhythm of nature.
As a cat owner, I often struggled to find a safe, loving place for my own cat while I was away. That experience inspired me to create Greenhaven—a tranquil, luxurious retreat where every cat can feel safe, happy, and pampered with a professional and attentive act sitter on site.
My love for feline companions began in France, where I had the opportunity to work at my family’s cat-only boarding hotel. There, I gained hands-on experience caring for cats—managing their health, nutrition, and daily routines—while learning the importance of creating a calm, loving environment where each cat feels safe and valued. Observing their unique personalities and earning their trust was deeply rewarding and helped me understand their emotional needs.
This experience inspired me to bring the same level of care, warmth, and attention to Greenhaven Cat Hotel, ensuring every guest feels truly at home.
